The First15 tourniquet is intuitive and easy to use. This tourniquet is distinguished by simplicity, speed of application and effectiveness in the event of life-threatening bleeding on one limb. This makes the tourniquet usable by anyone even without training. Of course, training is always better, but many people have had no first aid training. In addition under stress it is very difficult to properly perform what has been learned. Unlike other existing tourniquets, with our tourniquet you need less force to generate complete closure of the blood vessel, and by winding the tourniquet around the limb, the victim experiences less pain.

How the
tourniquet works
You place the First15 tourniquet above the wound. Then pull as hard as you can on the elastic band. While pulling, wrap the tourniquet around the limb and secure the tourniquet with Velcro. Check that the bleeding has stopped. If not, using the handle at the end of the tourniquet, further force can be applied.
The normal tourniquet is very important but requires training. We have opened up the IFAK for civillian use. It is the foundation of the kit, without it, it is not complete: after all, you cannot act in every situation.
