Today, we took an important step with First15 B.V. in our project on the reuse of high-quality medical instruments. In collaboration with Saxion University of Applied Sciences and Medisch Spectrum Twente (MST), we spent a day in the operating rooms of the MST.
We had the unique opportunity to attend two operations and to speak with various specialists about the potential of our First15 tourniquet, with the aim of developing it into a sterile version that can be used safely in the operating room. We were warmly welcomed and guided by Laurens van Houte of the MST, and have gained many valuable insights that bring us closer to realizing our vision.
This project is just the beginning of what promises to be a great collaboration. We look forward to continuing this great challenge and helping to make healthcare more sustainable!
